Code of Conduct
We want GridCon to be a fun and enjoyable event for everyone involved. In order to keep the convention a safe and inclusive event, we expect all visitors and staff to abide by our code of conduct. The code of conduct must be adhered to at all times during the event, and also in all discussions on GridCon online media.
To help the event be as successful as possible for all involved, we ask you to please abide by the following:
- Please be polite to each other and show each other respect at all times.
- Please be patient with other players; not everyone may be experienced with the game and need more time to think.
- Please ensure you keep a good level of hygiene.
- Please ask before taking photos of other people (please also see terms and conditions regarding photography by GridCon staff).
Anti-Harassment Policy
Our convention is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, ethnicity, religious choice, etc. We do not tolerate harassment of convention participants in any form.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or removal from the convention with no refund. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
